It was never a choice.

We’ve all heard people say that being gay is a lifestyle choice.  I know that some people sincerely believe this and I don’t fault them for their ignorance because they never walked in my shoes.  I, on the other hand, have walked in their shoes because I had to live and be someone else for a period in my life.  Being gay, openly, was not done in some places with any level of tolerance and you were best to keep your private life to yourself.

I’m not going to go into a bunch of details but I want to just relate some experience as casually as possible without offending people with too many details.  So that being said let me give you a bit of background.

Before I was a teenager I had already had little experiences as a kid does growing up.  It doesn’t happen to everyone but it does happen to quite a few kids growing up where sexual encounters, innocent as they are in most cases, do happen with younger kids.  Even before they’re teens.  It’s human nature.  We are all part of the animal kingdom and like it or not, some things are built in.  They’re instinct.

I don’t dwell upon the memories and as I’m writing this it’s literally been decades the last time I even thought about my childhood and the events that stand out relating to intimate encounters.  I just know that I had encounters with some boys and some girls like most kids have growing up.  Most of us can relate to these things.  We don’t like to talk about it but with as many stories and as many people as I’ve met and talked to over the decades since I’ve been online, one thing I am certain of is that I’m as normal as anyone else and gay or straight a great many of us share the same types of experiences to varying degrees.

I never made a choice to be gay.  I don’t know a single friend of mine that I can ever say has made a choice to be bisexual.  Not one that made a choice to be straight.  Not one person have I known my entire life that I’ve asked has ever offered an answer defining why they are who they are when it comes to their attractions.  We don’t make a choice about that.  Whatever combination of events or genetics or whatever it might be, not a single person can say they made a choice because we all just are who we are and like it or not we have to accept that at some point or struggle our whole lives being something and someone that we’re not.

When I was growing up violence towards gay people wasn’t uncommon.  We heard about kids in school that were supposedly gay and they were treated with contempt and outright hatred.  They were outcasts.  I knew one such boy and we were never really friends but we knew one another.  As a matter of fact he was the very first person I ever had intimate contact with and it ended up being something that happened once and then not again for nearly a decade when we encountered one another again.  But that experience with him made me understand who I was and it scared the crap out of me at the time.

Many younger people that might read this will never be able to truly relate to what I and those my age went through in many cases.  You get to live your lives out in the open with society relatively protective over your rights to be unharmed in schools and laws being passed that make it truly scary to commit crimes against you.

Most of you will never know what it means to be scared to be out because a deadly gay disease is killing your kind.  That God supposedly was sending a disease to wipe you off the face of the planet.  That’s what we were told and that is what some of us truly believed.  So if God didn’t curse us with a disease someone was liable to beat us and leave us to die in the streets or on a country road somewhere.

I struggled trying to be someone I wasn’t for a long time.  I had several girlfriends but unknown to them I had secret hookups with other guys as well.  I longed for it, it was where I was happy.  I knew who I was attracted to but I never defined that, it just was what it was and I had no reason to believe otherwise.  Still, I was scared and lived in a constant state of denial.  I lied to a girl I sincerely love, still to this day.  Her first daughter has my last name and we’re still after all these years the very best of friends.  But I lied to her and I nearly married her too.  But I wasn’t happy.  I wasn’t who I was meant to be.

So if you think I made a choice to be gay, I’d simply ask you..  Why did you choose to be straight?  Why did you choose to be bisexual?  You can’t sincerely tell me that you made that choice.  If you say you can I say you’re lying to yourself.

LGBT equality and the SCOTUS decision.

This is a highly polarizing issue and I sincerely understand that people have a range of feelings on both sides but I would like to try and cut a path right through the middle.

Private companies have a right to not be engage in religiously objectionable things. If they are privately held companies such as Chick-fil-A then I don’t really have any problem with that. I mean if you’re starving and there’s no place to get food, yeah that could be an issue. I can see that side of it. But let’s face it, that’s not the case and everyone knows it. So if they don’t want to serve LGBT people. No problem. If they don’t want to provide medical coverage that includes religiously objectionable services. That’s their right.

Same thing for hiring and firing practices. If they decide they don’t want to hire LGBT people based upon religious and moral basis, I don’t have a problem with that either. Why? They’re privately owned companies. They are not openly traded on the stock market where everyone can buy a piece of those companies. If you’re a publicly traded company, then I’d have an issue. If you’re a government service. We’d have an issue. Places that are part of the public square have to serve the public. That means all of us. We own pieces of some of you. We depend on some of you for basic needs such as grocery stores, gas stations, gyms, entertainment, and more. So no, you don’t get a choice if you’re part of the publicly traded companies out there. Those that are exempt from that, go ahead and knock yourselves out. Let’s the market sort you out. If people want to do business with you, that’s amazing. If they decided your practices go against their collective morality, sad about your business. That’s capitalism. Let it do it’s thing, please.

This comes back to something I’ve said time and again to so many people. This is an issue of mutual respect. I don’t have a problem with those who have religious beliefs wanting to remain in their own lane. I feel sorry for them because ultimately they are judging others and last I knew, for most of them, judgment and the weight of sin is for God to judge and not for mortal men and women to take upon themselves. Love the sinner, not the sin. Matthew 7:12 says “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.” I know you’re all familiar with that passage and it’s true no matter where the words come from. If you expect good done to you then do good to others. Simple concept. I think we could all use a little more of that common sense these days.

So what is going to happen here? I think that this decision is going to be like opening Pandora’s box. This decision will be used by people that are transgender who aren’t actually transgender at all. I think that could happen, I really do. I think that if lawmakers don’t step in and define a legally recognizable definition of what it is to be transgender, you could see a bunch of people that aren’t in any way transgender. I think that the medical community is a disaster on this issue since they refuse to take a hard stance on both the physical and mental issues facing actual transgender people. People that have an actual medical diagnosis of gender dysphoria. Actual genetic anomalies that could contribute to a diagnosis. Anything that is conclusive to support a legal definition that would protect real transgender people from wrongful termination while stopping predatory behavior of militants in the LGBT community who will attack this in the courts until they get the result they desire.

So here it is, again. The never ending circle that is the fight between the LGBTQ community and Christians. This plays out like a bad soap opera and for once I wish it would just be over and both sides would stop trying to infringe upon one another. Both have a right to live their lives unmolested by government. Both can do that. They simply choose not to do so.

By the way, has anyone noticed that once again the LGBTQ community is cheering this decision but ignoring the fact that the majority opinion are joined with not one, but two conservative justices? One of those justices is a Trump pick as well? But hey, don’t worry Liberals. Trump won’t get any credit for his part in helping the LGBTQ community. You can bet on that. And yes I know what Trump said. I know that the administration argued against this ruling. The SCOTUS decided and we all have to live with that decision going forward. It was still a Trump justice and another conservative justice that gave the court the majority on the decision and that’s just going to have to be a landmark decision that, in part, Trump had a hand in whether people like it or not.

Debunking the self loathing argument

For decades now the left has used language as a weapon to attack the right with abandon. It’s always the same steady stream of lies and repetitive justification argument that falls flat when we look at actual facts. Republicans are racists. A fact debunked by the very existence of the Republican party. At the time of the Civil War, there were no Republican slave owners. The party of Lincoln also enjoyed being the party that represented black Americans first in the Senate and House.

There is all sorts of history that demonstrates the Republican Party does not represent racism. There are always isolated individuals. But then the argument becomes that a group of those who are certainly racist, represent the entire party. This too is a false narrative that has never held up to logical or historical scrutiny. The black community has been represented by educated and amazing black men in both the Democrat and Republican party both. The simple fact remains, it was a very long time before black representatives were elected under the banner of the Democrat Party.

What about the argument that LGBTQ people who vote against Democrats are self loathing? This is not only a fabrication with no factual data to support such a claim, it’s quite nearly impossible to hate yourself if you are voting for Republicans based upon the party aligning itself with conservative constitutional values. It’s quite literally meant to be an attack on the character of someone who doesn’t conform by voting and regurgitating party talking points like a Muppet.

At one time LGBTQ people who could not be represented by the mainstream Republican party did in fact find a home with the Log Cabin Republicans, a group that has outlived its usefulness in my opinion. While it was a place to find representation within the Republican party they have done nothing in my lifetime of any value to get their message out to the rest of the LGBTQ community. To this day I can’t tell you the last time I heard anything from them that was even remotely helpful to bringing over voters to the party from the LGBTQ community. No outreach, no support, not a single thing that I can remotely recall hearing about.

So what is this self loathing argument really about? I’m sure most of you reading this already know the basic reasoning behind it. It’s an attack. A shame tactic. A literally bully pulpit tactic to silence opposition. It’s not based in truth. It’s weaponized language. The left has done it to black people for decades before the LGBTQ community became a more viable target and more visible to the public. We’ve seen how Democrats treat the black community and anyone that even thinks about speaking out against the rhetoric of liberals. They are called Uncle Tom, shamed for voting against their race, told they hate themselves, accused of heading back to the plantations. Odd how it was all southern Democrats that owned those plantations. All of those slaves. How were these good people who were voting their heart in what they believed, possibly seeking to head back to the plantations? That never made sense to me.

The same is true of the LGBT community except the circumstances. It’s language meant to shame people into submission. The most volatile individuals who hate LGBTQ people who vote for conservatives are, of course, other gay people. The language becomes vicious. The hatred and contempt. LGBTQ people who have already come out once weather a second storm when they come out a second time and others in the community catch wind of it. Suddenly you’ve become a social pariah. A traitor. You’ve literally been shoved back into the closet if you wish to have any meaningful contact with another human being in hopes of find a connection that isn’t a crazy Nazi queer that would possibly kill you in your sleep for being anything but a Democrat.

You think I’m kidding about that last part, but I’m not. I recently saw a tweet from an 18yo confused person that thinks it is a transgender person. It basically stated that it wanted to go around and sleep with boomers, kill them, and take all their stuff to go and sell. They hate older gays because supposedly they’re the problem. Disturbingly it didn’t seem to discriminate against the idea of killing people regardless of political affiliation but, it was certainly a communist liberal clown.

Liberalism dictates your victim status and you must comply or you must be destroyed. That’s the bottom line. No matter what victim classification you might be, there is no exceptions and they don’t take any prisoners. They regurgitate the same unsubstantiated claims over and over. If they repeat it often enough, say it loud enough, then it must be true in their mind. There is one simple little problem. When asked to cite any data that supports these claims they have none. The shaming of blacks or the shaming of LGBTQ people is the exact same unsupported claim.

Those who use such arguments are simply looking to dominate an exchange. They feel if they can put you on the defensive they’ve won the day. It doesn’t matter if you tell them they’re incorrect or lying. That doesn’t force the issue. You literally have to charge them to find a citation that demonstrates conclusive evidence that such a thing even exists let alone is factually supported by an unbiased source.

Anyone that tells me that I am self loathing because I vote as a Constitutional Conservative has a big problem of their own. They’re demonstrating their insecurities by not being able to debate issues on evidence. They’ve simply reverted to grade school antics and aren’t worth engaging further.

Let’s talk about Education.

A topic that every parents should focused on with the upcoming school year is homeschooling. Why is it important? Because as you all can see, the current education system has led to a major breakdown in civil behavior in America. Kids aren’t learning things that actually help them to learn how to become adults and assimilate into society. They’re quite literally being indoctrinated and the evidence of that has been in front of our faces for the last 20 years.

When the Department of Education became a thing under Jimmy Carter, a process to takeover and fundamentally change our education system took place. Behavior in schools started to change dramatically. Programs and standardized testing tied were tied to federal funding. Teachers were overburdened with larger class sizes, fewer resources, and less ability to correct bad behavior. Children started being taught that they were in control. That the schools had less and less authority over time and hand in hand with that was teaching children how to punish their parents using the tools of law enforcement both in and outside of the school structure.

Americans need to take control of the education of their children, now more than ever. Two generations of kids are out there right now which demonstrate they are products of a failed system to teach kids basic life skills to not only survive but also to thrive. Our schools don’t care about the quality of happiness of our children. They don’t address the social and spiritual needs of our children. They don’t teach, they indoctrinate. They program our kids rather than teach them.

A few years ago my fiance turned me on to this video and to this day I am still blown away by this young man. Logan LaPlante, a 13 year old at the time, gives a compelling Ted Talk that everyone should see and pass around. Because now, more than ever, reinventing the education of your children may be the biggest contribution we as Americans can provide for the generations of kids to come. It might very well be a way to correct course and set America back in the right direction.

A new beginning.

Hello everyone!

As many of you that follow me on Facebook and Twitter know, we’ve been working towards the goal of building a new website and beginning to add new features to help expand our effort to highlight voices within the LGBT community that are conservative and libertarian thinkers and bring them directly to you, our supporters.

Currently we’ve moved to WordPress and we’re working towards the goal of building enough supporters to upgrade our current plan to a business plan that allows us to expand features to our contributors and to the public. Before we do that I’m looking to build a group of regular contributors that would like to publish content here on the site. That also includes me taking time to contribute regular material here on the site so that those of you that took the time to follow me on social media have a chance to see that I mean what I say and say what I mean. I sincerely want to earn your respect and support.

The steps I’ve taken over this last week include migrating the old site to WordPress and spending some time helping create content for a podcast with Nicholas J. Pannett from DreamTeam on Twitter. I’ve also started working on a piece highlighting Richard Thripp who is running as a Democrat for Congress in the FL06 district. There is roughly 3 hours of material that Nick has collected in audio for podcasting that will soon be available to the public. So stay tuned for that because I’m sure some people will truly enjoy and even appreciate a great deal of what we talked about.

Now, I’m just going to admit that this is a whole new experience for me using WordPress. So any of you out there that have suggestions, would like to offer any help in streamlining the site, or even those of you who truly wish to contribute your articles to this site, please feel free to contact me on social media. I’m very happy to work with anyone who can help us build upon this effort to bring LGBT conservative voices and great American patriots to all of you on a daily basis.

For now, please forgive the mess as I am learning to tweek this site and try to make it look and work for the benefit of us all.

Thank you one and all for your support, your love, and your friendship. Most of all I want to thank DreamTeam, Proud Boys, and all of my patriot friends on Twitter who have made the last 3 months a truly rewarding experience and demonstrated to me that I have a part to play in this fight that they not only support but have stood by me to defend my voice and rights as an American. I am truly honored by their friendship and I am always there to stand by them as they have me.

“Where We Go One We Go All” was inscribed on the bell on JFK’s boat. Today it is a call to all patriots and true defenders of the Constitution to come together for a greater purpose. While I do not personally subscribe to the QAnon views on all things, I believe that there is a passion for country from those that do believe and support the movement. I’m a skeptic with most things in life. So while I agree with the motivations of the movement, I don’t know if it’s real or not but I do believe it’s serving a greater good to unite conservatives and defenders of America. And that I can get behind.

So trust me when I say, where my friends and allies go I too will go. I will continue to support those who have supported me and I am grateful every day for the support from all of you that helped motivate me to make this new site happen and I’m anxious to build upon it for the sake of all here now and those to come in the future.

God bless you all and God bless America.

The truth about the Wuhan Coronavirus and you..

I get it, some of you are scared. It’s not a excuse to not be informed when information is literally at your fingertips either via your phone or computer.

Trump, love him or hate him, was ahead of this if you look at accurate facts and real reports. Italy and the US both had cases at the same time based on the same information and because quarantines and screenings started as early as they did and then the travel ban that followed, the number of cases in the United States compared to Italy is exponentially lower.

Trump’s travel ban came 10 days after it was announced. Democrats started calling the travel bans racist and going after Trump on a political note time and again. Then they said he didn’t act quickly enough. Well if you compare that to Obama it was six months before Obama officially said anything regarding SARS after the HHS secretary made an announcement in April and then Obama didn’t follow up until October. 6 months compared to 10 days is a huge difference.

There’s plenty more information out there about what really happened and how it happened. China has been engaged in a full-fledged propaganda campaign to make it look like the United States is the originator when it is actually the Chinese that originated this virus because of their unhealthy and unsanitary conditions. The liberal media this country has sided with Chinese propaganda against president Trump. Once again demonstrating that the liberal fake news media in our country is the enemy of the people and will do anything for political gains.

Is this virus serious serious? Obviously it is but it still doesn’t kill nearly as many people has the flu and other diseases. How to do a little research open your eyes and look at what’s really going on instead of buying into everything you hear and see. If you hear something double check it. If you see something posted online triple check it. There’s a high rate a probability that depending upon the source the information that you get is sensationalized and motivated by political intentions.

Fears and tempers are running high. The problem is with you.  You are your own worst enemy.  So be informed, don’t impulse buy things, make sure to help others where you can, and for goodness sakes…

WASH YOUR HANDS!

The Dishonest Democrat Primary

Let’s face it, Democrats out there calling for the abolishment of the Electoral College are as disingenuous as they come.  They cry about how unfair it is when the process works as it’s supposed to in order to protect democracy and balance of power in our nation yet these are the same people who have a rigged process which uses establishment Democrats as “superdelegates” in order to steer the election in the direction that party insiders want in the event of a brokered convention.

The difference between the Electoral College and the superdelegates is plain as day.  One process strikes a balance giving states a voice in the election at the behest of the population that resides in that state.  A voice of the people.

The superdelegate process in the Democratic party primary takes control away from the people and puts it in the hands of a powerful select few of the party in order to ultimately be in complete control over who the party will get behind in the general election.

Democrats have made a push in various states to take away the rights and the voices of the people in their states.  They have made a move to give their electoral votes, regardless of the votes of the people in their state, to the popular vote winner.  They did this as a result of President Trump winning the last election and at no time in history had this been done prior to his being elected to office.  This is a dangerous undermining of the Constitutional process put in place by the founders.  The electoral votes of the states were to go to the majority winner or be split based upon vote percentage, one or the other, so that the voices of the people in that state are heard as to protect state and local rights of the people.

Liberals are doing all they can to undermine democracy in America today.  Americans need to ask themselves a few questions and the very first is, at what point is enough, enough?!

At what point do Americans take up arms against a hostile actor and put down tyranny in this country?

This push to destroy the Constitution and the voices of the people as well our rights is non-stop.  So when are we going to fight back and start making things like this absolutely illegal and punish states and their politicians for violating the rights of all Americans?

Please like, share, and spread the word!  We want to hear from you.  Feel free to contact us on our Facebook page or follow us on Twitter!  We follow back!

The pendulum swings.

For decades now I have watched as events have taken place that affect the LGBT community in both positive and negative ways and to say the least it’s disturbing to watch the way things will swing back and forth to such extremes.

Christians are the main target because of the same style of militant and overly aggressive behavior that the gay community often demonstrates can also be seen by those of so called faith.  Christians often attempt to assert that this nation is a Christian nation and therefore their ideals should be made into law all the while forgetting that we’re a Constitutional Republic that is not at all a Christian nation but rather a nation of common sense laws.

There are a number of quotes that establish the fact that our founding fathers looked at faith as a double edge sword.  No quote more powerful, I think, than that of George Washington.  He said “If I could conceive that the general government might ever be so administered as to render the liberty of conscience insecure, I beg you will be persuaded, that no one would be more zealous than myself to establish effectual barriers against the horrors of spiritual tyranny, and every species of religious persecution.” in a letter to the United Baptist Chamber of Virginia, May 1789.

The United States Constitution establishes equality under the law for all.  Christians have long argued against equal rights for the gay community such as marriage but I would submit that if they argue about the definition they are in fact arguing for a separate outcome and rights which is not how our Constitution was written.

Christians also seem to be under the belief that marriage is a religious foundation rooted in procreation which is also a lie.  Long before Christianity came to be, families would marry individuals that in some cases one person was alive while the other was dead.  All to create stronger alliances between families.  It’s a historical fact, whether Christians like it or not.

So every time the gay community has a win, Christians strike back and find new ways to attack the gay community and every time Christians have a win, the gay community seems to escalate their fight and strike back as well.  It’s a never ending cycle and it’s been going on all my life.

I have no problem with people that have a religious faith.  I’m quite happy for them.  I myself believe that there is in fact a God but as I’ve educated myself over the years I am 100% certain that there isn’t a single religion on the face of this planet that is right. God is about something much greater than mortals can imagine.  There has to be something on a higher level at work to have created the vast universe we live in and I certainly am not arrogant enough to believe that this planet is the only place where there is intelligent life.

So how did something come of nothing and who or what predates all of us that had a hand in all of creation?  I don’t know but I do know that Christians, Muslims, Jews, and every other faith is 100% wrong.  They can cite their scriptures all they like but they cannot escape a simple truth of humanity.  People lie, have motives, seek power and control.  People are dishonest and corrupt.  History proves that clearly and no religious faith can say they don’t have blood on their hands and claim to be righteous because the murder of a single soul in the name of your faith taints everything and everyone involved for all time.

I’m happy for those who find comfort in their faith but their faith belongs in only two places.  In your home and in your places of worship.  Outside of that your faith has no place in government.  It has no place being pushed upon others.  It has no place in books of law to be imposed upon society.  Your faith is limited by the Constitution because let’s be clear.  Freedom of religion also means freedom from religion.  You have a right to believe what you like, I have a right to believe you’re full of it and believe something completely different.  Simple as that.

The gay community must stop pushing itself upon people.  There must be limits to what society has to endure from people of faith and the LGBT community alike.  I don’t want religious rule but I certainly don’t want a rule of law operated by a hateful and militant gay community that continues to attempt to impose itself upon those that have spiritual beliefs.

Oh and I’d be perfectly fine with the gay community leveling it’s attacks on religious folks if it weren’t for the fact that they only seem to go after Christians.  When the community goes after Muslims and others with equal aggression, then we can have a conversation.  Gay people looking for a fight with Christians needs to stop.  It’s absurd, abusive, and just plain childish.  Just take note how you’ve never seen a news story where gay couples are looking for a wedding cake from a Muslim operates bakery.  When that happens, let’s see how well that goes over.

Bernie Sanders is a terrorist.

I don’t say this lightly.  Yes, Sanders is a terrorist by modern day standards.  Time and again he refuses to denounce the violence, fire staffers who have been caught on tape saying things that amount to wholesale terrorism, and romanticizes dictators and communist nations.

Americans should think about what is really going on right now.  For decades we have watched the Democratic party lean further and further left and as it has done so it’s become increasingly hateful in the rhetoric used against those they consider enemies and targets to be destroyed.  We watched bombings in the past that were a result of left wing extremists.  The left attempts to deny the fact that it was leftists that created the KKK and for decades they have attempted to assert that somehow the left and right changed places to distort and rewrite the history of their party.

Democrats know how to manipulate language, history, and most of all they understand the usage of violence.  They use all the tools the accuse the right of using as a weapon to beat down the will of their victim class voters.

They tell gay people that Republicans want to round us all up and lock us up in camps, to reprogram or put us to death.  Of course these statements have never been true but you can’t tell that to leftists that claimed after Trump was elected that gay people were under threat of being locked up in camps if they didn’t come out and vote against the man in every possible election.

The left has claimed for years that they support the black community but the facts are plainly clear when you look at every major city with a poor black population concentration and how policies of the Democrats continue to oppress the black community at every turn.  Taking fathers out of the picture, leaving mothers to raise children alone.  A welfare policy achievement that people like Candace Owens, Star Parker, and a host of other conservative voices in the black community, have come out and exposed the truth and are fighting against each and every day.

So Bernie Sanders is the leftist agenda reimagined.  His supporters are brainwashed, much like Hitler achieved in Germany, and believe things that are simply not possible.  Sanders is rich beyond comprehension for a man that never worked a real job an entire day in his life.  How is it that a rich old white guy becomes the most powerful voice in the Democratic Party?  His supporters are the worst sort as we’ve seen over and over again.  They will and do resort to extreme violence.  They will harm anyone and everyone that stands in their way, especially elderly and children as we’ve seen recently.

Bernie’s blanket refusal to denounce the violence is a direct answer to who the man really is and what he’s about.  Think about it, the man loved Castro, a murderous dictator.  The man loved the USSR.  A country that oppressed and even murdered their people if it suited a political need.

So anyone who would deny that Bernie is a terrorist is ignorant to the facts of his history, the things he openly has embraced, and what he wants to impose upon the American people.

The man should never have been given a political voice.  Those who have fallen for his lies and rhetoric are willing tools for a man that has committed acts of violence against Americans by his own refusal to bring to justice those who would violate the law and commit acts of violence against others.

This is the very definition of a terrorist.  He is allowing terror to be used to beat people down and create fear.  Don’t think for a minute that if Sanders loses there won’t be violence.  His supporters have said as much.  ‘Cities will burn’ as I recall.

So there, I said it.  Bernie is a terrorist.  It might not be his hands committing the acts but he is the one pulling the strings and refuses to defuse or prevent the acts of terror his supporters regularly commit.  That by itself should be enough to disqualify him from being the president.  We don’t negotiate with terrorists.  We end them.
